Six weeks after my C-section, my incision still wasn’t healing. Every time they had to clean it and re-pack it, the pain was excruciating. Anyone who had wound care knows how painful it is —but this was on another level. I was literally crying every single time. It felt like my skin was being scraped and peeled off. The packing would stick to the inside of the wound, and when they removed it, it felt like they were tearing off new skin. It was unbearable.

But the biggest moment for me was after that…
For weeks, I had to have my children stay by family and friends because I simply couldn’t manage—I was in too much pain and stress from the incision. Once I finally healed, I was so excited to bring my children back home, to be with them fully again, to return to my life as a mother.
This wasn’t just physical healing. It gave me my life back.
